Bloomington, Illinois

Glen is now working. He is serving in Bloomington, Illinois right now. His mission area is the farthest away from Des Moines. Its about 5 hrs South East of Des Moines. He says that its a pretty big area and its only him and Elder Wray (his comp.). Everyone has their own religion, so they haven't gotten any investigators from tracking. They visit less actives and part members and he thinks that is where they will get most of their baptisms from. Also they did for sure combine his mission, so he does have Carthage and Navoo in his mission. (Joshua 1:9)

3 Kidney Stones

In Glens last letter he said that he has 3 kidney stones and that they hurt SO BAD!!! Then at the end of the letter he said he was kidding and he really didn't have any, but he wanted to keep us in suspense. He thought he was so funny.
He just found out that they combined part of his mission into Navoo and Carthage. He is so EXCITED about it, but he isn't 100% sure if they really did combine it or not.
***Pictures of him coming soon :)***

Travel Plans

Glen got his travel plans last Friday, he will be leaving on the 28th at 5am. He will first go to Dallas and then go to Iowa. If anyone is sending him letters make sure it will get there before Monday or else just send it to the mission home.
Glen had an embarrassing moment at the MTC . He was getting ready to put his tray on the thing that cleans your plates and stuff and he completely dropped it and it shattered everything on his tray. He said it was awkward and embarrassing, but he just had to laugh it up.

Letter #2

Glen is still loving the MTC, he said you just have to be optimistic about everything and keep your head up! He said the days feel like weeks, but the weeks feel like days. He and his Comp. Elder Harris are getting along really well and it isn't awkward anymore. He said when he gets a letter it helps with the homesickness, so everyone try and send him a letter.

First letter from the MTC

Glen is doing good and so far he is LOVING the MTC! Elder Ballif (His friend from hs) is at the MTC and Glen was able to talk to him a little bit, which helped Glen a ton! Elder Ballif helped him see the possitive side to everything!
Glen's compainion is Elder Harris and he is from Orem. Glen said he seems like a cool kid, but is quiet like Glen.
He wants everyone to know that the Lord loves everyone!
